Ms. Deepa Mohanraj, the founder of a special school, is one such remarkable individual whose life’s mission has been to create a positive impact on society. Our Founder story begins with a heartfelt desire that was uniquely selfless. “All I wanted was to have a child who would be different, who wouldn’t take from society but give to society,” she once shared. Her aspiration was not for personal glory or financial success but to contribute meaningfully to the world. Her wish was a plea for a purpose-driven life. Hence KAUMARAM PRASHANTHI ACADEMY came into being with 6 children in the barrage at Coimbatore in the year 2006.
In response to her genuine longing, fate smiled upon her. She was blessed with a child who had special needs. It was a profound moment when she realized that this child, who society might view as different, was her ticket to fulfilling her purpose. This child would be her partner in making a positive contribution to society. She understood that her life had been granted a unique sense of purpose, one that she would embrace with unwavering commitment.
With a clear sense of mission and a heart brimming with love, our founder embarked on her journey to create a special school. She understood that there were countless parents like her, who yearned to see their children not just survive but thrive in a world that often misunderstood their potential. Her vision was to provide a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where children with special needs could grow, learn, and, most importantly, contribute to society in their own extraordinary ways.
The path she chose was not without its share of challenges. Building a special school required not only immense dedication but also the ability to surmount financial, logistical, and societal obstacles. She faced these challenges head-on, drawing strength from her love for her child and her unwavering belief in the cause she had undertaken.
Today, Our Founder-Director’s special school stands as a beacon of hope and inspiration. It has become a place where children with special needs receive the care, attention, and education they deserve. Her vision has evolved into a thriving reality, where her child and countless others like them are not just receiving an education but are also actively participating in society’s progress.
She honed her skills further to shine brighter in her chosen field of work. She has completed many certified courses related to these fields.
